The Log Home Doctors finished the log cabin just in time for Christmas.

This house was finished in 2 weeks as we enclosed and heated the house to protect it from the elements when we were staining.

Below are the after pictures.

The current log cabin the crew at Log Home Doctors is trying to finish before Christmas. With the rain and cold temperature we had to enclose part of the house and heat. Here are some pictures of that process. This house is near Prarie Du Sac Wisconsin.

Log Home in Oconomowoc, WI

The Log Home Doctors crew finished the maintenance on another log home in Oconomowoc Wisconsin yesterday. This log cabin stain had deteriorated from the elements and you can see the difference from the before and after pictures. The product used on this log home was Sikkens Log and Siding in Dark Oak color stain. This home was finished on December 10th 2015. This project took a less than a week to stain.
This was the shape the log cabin was in before we started the maintenance project and staining.

These are the after pictures of the finished project with a Navajo Red deck (Sikkens Rubbol solid stain) the customers requested.

This is a project done in the Wisconsin Dells area. The owner of the property lives out of state and when he contacted us he needed to have some of the trees and bushes trimmed back. With the owner out of state we told him that our crew would trim the brush and bushes so we could start on schedule.
Below are the before pictures.

This project had a couple changes made on the fly as the home owner was there when we started. There was a problem with the front door and it ended up needing a complete door replacement along with part of the subfloor on the entry way. We had our carpentry crew replace the door and floor area while we were staining the other part of the house. These repairs were done without any additional time added to the project. We did have to enclose the house because of the rain and snow we encountered so the project could stay on track. We do work through the winter in all conditions.
Below are the finished pictures of the house.

The carpentry and staining was started on November 30, 2015 and completed on December 4, 2014
This is a home that had extreme mold build up on a 10 year old house in Minnesota. The home owner tried to get local contractors to clean and stain the house but after seeing the house no one contacted them back.
This is an interesting story as to how we got the job. The home owner is an over the road trucker that saw one of our trucks on the road by LaCrosse Wisconsin. He called the phone number on the truck and spoke the our company owner. Our company owner called the driver of our truck and had him meet with the home owner at the next rest stop. We ended up looking at the property with the owner and wrote the contract.
Within a few weeks we had the projected started and completed.
The first 5 pictures show the before pictures before we removed the mold and cleaned the house.

These are the after pictures with 2 coats of Butternut color stain (Sikkens Log and Siding).
This project took 2 weeks from the start to finish and was completed just before Thanksgiving 2015
